This secret location is tucked away in the deep woods and reveals an impressive facade. 

Once inside one may find a 50° slope that descends into the flooded darkness.

Ruffner No. 2 mine operated from 1886 - 1953, then it was sealed shut.

It was upgraded and improved periodically over the years. 

The most recent renovation appears to have been a magnificent cave-in.
