I thought you were in Leeds for a moment with that giant cement cross; looks very similar to the one at Kilgore cemetery. By the way, have you been down the Leeds section of 78? There's lots of side roads and something about an old quarry that hit a water table and had to close and leave a ton of equipment at the bottom of a brand new lake.
What cemetery was this? Oakhill was one of the first cemeteries in Birmingham and is supposed to have some beautiful old period monuments.
