Pullman was a legendary rail car manufacturer. The Bessemer plant shut down in the mid 1990's. Various other businesses have sporadically set up shop here in the past twenty years, but it is mostly empty again. Yes, it is active. Yes, there is security. Yes, they will detain you. No, you can't go here.

ReplyDeletemy grandfather worked there in the 70s and 80s (possibly even the 60s, not 100% sure).
